Inteligencia artificial en la detección temprana del cáncer de laringe mediante análisis de imágenes endoscópicas

    Resumen

    La inteligencia artificial aplicada a endoscopia laríngea muestra potencial para apoyar detección, clasificación y segmentación de lesiones. Se realizó una revisión narrativa crítica de estudios, metaanálisis y estándares de reporte. Se diferenciaron pacientes e imágenes, tareas diagnósticas y tipos de validación. Los resultados publicados muestran desempeño variable y experiencias de validación externa y vídeo, pero no acreditan por sí solos diagnóstico más temprano o mejores desenlaces oncológicos. Se propone una matriz de evaluación e implementación supervisada que integra calidad de datos, seguridad e impacto clínico. Se concluye que la adopción requiere validación independiente, control de sesgos y seguimiento de decisiones, manteniendo confirmación diagnóstica y responsabilidad especializada.
